The information overall is fantastic. Each guide include information about each Cay, with aerial photo's and accompanying chart snippet. The guide communicates effectively, in a conversational tone, and includes some history and supplemental tidbits to round out understanding of the Exumas.I chose the kindle version as I have my laptop setup with OpenCPN and the explorer o-charts for the Bahamas, so it's perfect for pulling up the Exuma guide and bouncing between the two to get an in-depth understanding of navigation and piloting requirements for the area.What I do not like about these guides, and the only reason I am rating this as 3 out of 5 stars, is that 30% of the material is copy and paste (28% to be exact, per the kindle reader). The sections that are copy and pasted are about anchoring, customs, duties, etc, but the issue is that anyone that buys these guides to use are likely going to need all four guides. The print guide is the same price as the kindle version when all of the guides are purchased, where most all other printed books give up to 50% off for the kindle version (sometimes more). So the authors have found a way to eliminate the material cost of paper while charging the same for an electronic version. This also means that the equivalent of almost 1 full guide worth of material is copy and paste.Overall, a great electronic guide, just tainted by the price point. If you have a laptop with a chart plotter program, and can stomach the price scam here, I can recommend. If you aren't using a laptop to read this material, or a color eReader, skip the electronic versions and get the single print edition.
